Our Story.

The vision for Windows on the Bay is to offer excellent and skilfully prepared food. We want to create an experience where you feel welcomed by our family and the service is personal.
We aim to create a dynamic place with a simple kitchen and unpretentious food, using the best local produce as well as introducing you to our favourite ingredients.

Ours is an inspired menu, drawing on French and Scandinavian influences, developed from a blend of fresh Tasmanian and Victorian produce. All the while, hosting in a relaxed atmosphere with an extraordinary view of Port Phillip Bay.

The Final Chapter…

Steiner said that everything in life happens in 7 years cycles and so it is very fitting that after 7 years it is time for our family to say goodbye to Windows on the Bay and to Mordialloc.

It has been a pleasure and an absolute privilege to be involved with such an iconic location and we look forward to seeing you for one last visit before we close the door on our last service on Saturday 28th of October.
